FR cotton and the side panels are made with 6 oz. FR cotton stretch knit, leaving it machine washable while retaining FR protection, through 50 home washes. The deep crown design allows cap to be worn just above eyebrows and the softer side panels provide chafe-free flame-resistant ear coverage. The AH1630's large cap bill offers more neck protection from sparks and UV rays while also storing a Hidden flap inside the bill, which provides extra neck protection when extended. Finally, it is stitched with durable flame-resistant thread.
